Many of you have reached out with questions about our upcoming litters. We are thrilled to share that our next planned litters are expected to arrive around the middle to the end of August. These puppies will be ready to join their new families by the middle to the end of October. While we currently do not have any puppies available, this period is far from idle. It is a busy and important time for us, focused on caring for our moms and preparing for the new arrivals.

What to Expect from Our Upcoming Litters

Our upcoming litters are the result of careful planning and dedication to health and temperament. We expect the puppies to be born in late August, giving them plenty of time to grow and develop before moving to their new homes in October. This timeline allows us to provide the best start possible, including early socialization and health checks.

We encourage anyone interested in welcoming a puppy to reach out with inquiries now. This helps us match families with the right puppies and ensures a smooth transition when the time comes. Since we do not have puppies available at this moment, early communication is key.

How We Care for Our Moms Between Litters

When there are no puppies available, our focus shifts to pampering and supporting our moms. This includes:

  • Providing extra comfort and rest to help them recover from previous litters.

  • Offering nutritious meals tailored to their needs.

  • Engaging in gentle exercise to keep them healthy and happy.

  • Giving plenty of affection and attention to maintain their emotional well-being.

This care is essential to keep our moms in top condition for future litters. Happy, healthy moms produce happy, healthy puppies.

Training Our Future Moms

Another important part of this time is training our up-and-coming moms. We work on:

  • Basic obedience skills to ensure they are well-mannered.

  • Socialization with people and other dogs to build confidence.

  • Exposure to different environments to reduce stress during pregnancy and whelping.

Training helps prepare these dogs for motherhood and life with their new families. It also strengthens the bond between us and our dogs, which benefits everyone involved.

Keeping Health Certifications Up to Date

Health is a top priority. We make sure all our dogs have current OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) health certifications. This involves:

  • Scheduling appointments for health screenings.

  • Testing for common genetic conditions.

  • Monitoring overall wellness.

By maintaining these certifications, we ensure our breeding dogs meet high health standards. This commitment reduces the risk of hereditary issues in puppies and supports long-term well-being.

Why This Time Matters

Even though it might seem like a quiet period without puppies, this time is crucial. It allows us to:

  • Recharge and care for our moms.

  • Prepare future moms with training and socialization.

  • Maintain health standards through certifications.

  • Plan for upcoming litters with attention to detail.

This careful approach benefits the puppies, moms, and families who will welcome them.
