Golden Retriever Puppies in Sonoma County, California

We are delighted to share an update on our current litters here at Contango Goldens in Petaluma, California.


As always, our puppies are raised in our home and on our property in the hills of Sonoma County, receiving early socialization, structured handling, and daily interaction to help set them up for confident, well-adjusted lives with their future families.

🌼 Light Roast Litter

This litter features some of the palest golden tones, with creamy, soft coats that have a classic light Golden Retriever look.


Plum is a gentle and nurturing mother with a calm, affectionate temperament. Her puppies often inherit her sweet disposition and make wonderful family companions. If you are specifically interested in a lighter cream to light golden coat, this pairing may be a wonderful fit.

☕ Medium Roast Litter

Our Medium Roast litter are a rich, timeless golden tone with a couple of dark roast beans sprinkled in for extra depth.— the classic Golden Retriever coloring most people know.


Iris is confident, playful, and loving, and we expect this litter to display a beautiful balance of energy and gentleness. These puppies should transition well into active family homes while still having that signature Golden softness.
